so its been orientation this week, not alot going on....besides the fact that i shaved my head. i will put some pictures up soon. its hot like really hot, we are all drained all day. we sleep out side. all the other trainees are awesome. i wish i could describe what its like here. i am getting a cellphone tonight will update with phone number soon. for anyone interested in calling me. you can find international calling cards on the internet.

i am really happy, and i feel lucky to be here. i am moving to my host family tomorrow so i might have a different tune in 3 weeks. but so far besides the heat and the bathroom situation life's great.

Why am I not surprised that you shaved your head???? Cool, I can imagine it's too hot for a full head of hair, plus, who cares about your hair...you're in Africa.

You must look so beautiful :o) I went to the beach today and spaced out for a while...trying to enjoy every moment of quiet before school starts. Rob and I are going to stay on some guy's boat when we're in San Diego for those 2 nights before Mexico. I found a post on Craigslist for a boat rental in the marina for $100 bucks a night...the only lodging available. And the guy won't be there...he just rents it out. Kinda sounded like it would be the three of us. It's gonna rock us to sleep. I wish I had stories of backpacking in the Andes or somethin' to tell you about. Give me a week or two and I'll come up with something :o)
